Winter Fun in Midlothian

Brrrrr! The temperature has dropped at the Sandbox Learning Center in Midlothian, don’t fret are Jr/Sr classroom is staying cozy and warm in their igloo. The igloo made of Sandbox ice blocks (plastic milk jugs) will stay in tack through the month of February. As spring approaches the blocks will slowly disappear to a cooler region with the help of one of are Sandbox families who will take great care of it and will enjoy until fully melted. We could not have done this without the help of our Sandbox families, District 143 staff and students. It’s great to know how our community came together to help make the children’s dream come true. Through this endeavor; our children have learned team work, patterns, patience and above all the children have discovered that the blue ice blocks (2% milk) are the most popular.
